Looking more like an angel and using a gigantic pitcher rather than a cauldron, Mary Larkin, a “brew-ster” from Brewster, mixes up a batch of her bug and tick spray using all natural ingredients.
The ticks, inoculated with the bacterium when they bite infected mice, squirrels and other small animals, subsequently pass the pathogens to their human victims when they obtain a blood meal.
