As the legislation moves through the Senate a consensus for watered-down health care reform starts to emerge: a plan that regulates the corporations some more, sparing them the inconvenience of the desperately needed Public Option.

The battle over the treatment of Lyme disease — fought in medical journals and newspaper articles — will move Thursday to a televised hearing in Washington D.C. And members of groups like the Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force will be sitting by a big-screen TV at the town’s emergency operations center to watch the whole thing.
