Groomers advise against giving pets a close shave during summer

While summer can be a lot of fun, it can also be a dangerous time for pets. Ungroomed coats can become easily matted and trap heat or become infested with fleas that can cause anemia, while ticks can become imbedded in a pet’s skin and possibly transmit Lyme disease.
