Gulf Coast ticks apparently on the rise in Hampton Roads

HAMPTON ROADS Researchers are warning residents to be aware of ticks. A team of researchers at Old Dominion University found that Gulf Coast ticks have marched up from the deep south and are comfortably nestled in places like the Great Dismal Swamp.
