Tick, tick … boom: Vet urging dog owners to be on lookout for deer ticks

A Cape Breton veterinarian is urging dog owners to be on the lookout for deer ticks that can spread Lyme disease after a Doberman pinscher-mix diagnosed with the infection died last month.
